How do I restore my purchase?
+
On the paywall screen, tap "Restore purchase" at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the original purchase. If you're still having trouble, contact us below.
I paid but my reading isn't unlocked. What do I do?
+
First, try tapping "Restore purchase" on the paywall screen. If the issue persists, force-close the app and reopen it. If you're still locked out, email us with your Apple ID email and we'll sort it out immediately.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
+
Go to your iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → find Obsidian → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your billing period. We don't manage subscriptions directly — all billing is handled by Apple.
My archetype result doesn't feel right. Can I retake the test?
+
You can retake the reading after completing your 30-day plan (Day 30). The retake is intentional — the idea is to see how you've changed after a month of growth. If you feel your initial answers weren't honest, try answering what you actually do rather than what you think you should do.
My XP or streak reset. What happened?
+
Progress is stored locally on your device. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, your progress will have reset. Unfortunately we don't currently back up progress to the cloud — this is on our roadmap. We're sorry for the frustration.
Is Obsidian available on Android?
+
Not yet — Obsidian is currently iOS only. Android is planned. Drop us your email below and we'll let you know when it launches.
How does the AI work? Is my data private?
+
Your questionnaire answers are sent to our AI (Anthropic's Claude) to generate your reading. They are not stored long-term or used to train AI models. Your growth data (XP, streaks, level) is stored locally on your device only. We never sell your data. See our
Privacy Policy for full details.
I want a refund. How do I request one?
+
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit
reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your Obsidian purchase, and request a refund. Apple typically processes refunds within a few days.
